Environmental are relating to surroundings in which someone lives or something exists.
Building system are effected by environment including ;

• humidity
• safety
• weather
• soil structure                                                                

Primary function of building system are

• to provide shelter
• to provide environment where people can feel comfortable to live
• to control and to manipulate the environment

There are 3 types of Building Services which are:

     1. Building Operation System

• processing
• automation

     2. Electrical System

STANDARD COMFORT MATERIALS

Window 

Windows are essential standard comfort materials in providing sufficient lighting and visualization. Also, windows are crucial component in manipulating thermal comfort and ventilation. Efficient window should able to save energy and maximize its capability to give comfort to buildings.

In terms of thermal comfort, window let sunlight ray enter buildings to enlighten the room efficiently. Wider window allows more lights to enter thus minimize the usage of lamps or light bulbs. However, the amount of lights should be control as too bright lighting cause glare and increase room temperature. To overcome this issue, windows are tinted to reduce the intensity of lights enter. Meanwhile, too low intensity of lights cause dimmer mood and difficult to see. Therefore, the size of window and its components should be adjust to the buildings requirement.

Water Tank

Water Tank is a container for storing water. Water tanks are used to provide storage of water for human use in daily life, drinking water, fire resistence, farming, both for plants and livestock, manufacturing, food preparation as well as the human life cycle. Water tank parameters include the general design of the tank, and choice of construction materials, linings. Various materials are used for making a water tank such as plastic (polyethlene), stone, steel (welded or bolted, carbon, or stainless).Water tanks can give comfort to human wisely.

Walls

The walls of buildings control the flow of heat, moisture, and air. Their color and other optical properties affect the way heat is absorbed and how the building radiates heat back into the atmosphere, but they must do so in ways that meet aesthetic standards and serve functions such as building stability and fire-resistance. Ideal materials are thin, light, and easy-to-install, and provide opportunities to adjust their resistance to flows of heat and moisture. Thin materials offering high levels of insulation are valuable for all building applications but are particularly important for retrofits since space for additional insulation is often limited.

Air conditioner

Air-conditioning is a machine that processing to remove heat and refreshing the air in an occupied space. Most of the workshop, lecture hall and others are installed the air conditioning. This is because it can improve one’s comfort levels when working in office, studying and others activities. It also provide a less noise to the surrounding environment. There are 4 types of operating principles in the air conditioning structure which is refrigeration cycle, heat pump unit, free cooling and evaporative cooling. The refrigeration cycle is to recirculate the air inside the occupied space and the air is not flow from outside to interior. Heat pump unit is an air conditioner that provide heat into the inside environment. This air conditioning system are universal and often used by the citizen in 4 season country.

Electrical System

Electrical system are important component in any buildings as it plays huge role to make sure the building is functional. Most appliances and facilities are powered by electricity for instances, lamps, fans, computer, refrigerator, heater, WiFi networks and many more.This materials help us to do work better, faster and more efficient. And most important, electrical system able to give us comfort. Nowadays, life without Internet would be dry and clueless as we depend too much on them. Offices, factory, shopping complex and residential buildings all are supplied with convenient electrical system. Electrical system must be installed according to safety standard to prevent short circuit or .In a nutshell, electrical system are crucial items in buildings as it provides wide range of comfort including thermal comfort (air-conditioner), visual comfort (TV screen), sound comfort (alarm) and etc.
